YEAR 12 - HOW TO STUDY ENGLISH - Either a Full day workshop or Half day x 2 workshops

Students are always asking, "How do I study for English?". As a compulsory subject, that affects HSC results it is important that students understand how to study for English. This program will outline key techniques on how to study for English, as well as general study techniques students could apply to other subjects.

This program maybe offered in two formats:

• Option 1: Full day workshop (approximately 4 hours)

• Option 2: Half day workshop x 2 (approximately 4 hours)
   

Each sessions will be approximately 2 hours:
- Session #1 - 9 to 10am: Thesis statements / topic sentences, vocabulary and stimulus interpretation.

- Session #2 - 11 to 12pm: Study strategies and time management.

Why should I attend?
This workshop will equip students with practical study skills they can apply straight away. Whether students are already studying but not sure how to best utilise their time, or not sure where to begin when it comes to study. This workshop will assist students in creating an effective study timetable.
